Ten Suggestions for Those Over Forty Years Old...

(this was shared to me by a friend...thanks to the writer of this article!)

1. Focus on enjoying the company of people,
not on indulging in or accumulating material things.

2. Plan to spend whatever you have saved.
You deserve to enjoy it on the few healthy years left of your life. Travel if you can afford it.

3. Don't leave anything for your children or loved ones to quarrel about. By leaving anything, you may even cause more trouble when you are gone.

4. Live in the here and now, not in the yesterdays and tomorrows. It is only today that you can handle. Yesterday is gone, tomorrow may not even happen.

5. Enjoy your grandchildren (if you are blessed with any) but don't be their full time baby sitter. You have no moral obligation to take care of them. Don't have any guilt about refusing to baby
sit anyone's kids including your own grandkids. Your parental obligation is to your children. After you have raised them into responsible adults, your duties of child-rearing and babysitting are finished. Let your children raise their own offsprings.

6. Accept physical weakness, sickness and other physical pains. It is a part of the aging process.Enjoy whatever your health can allow.

7. Enjoy what you are and what you have right now. Stop working hard for what you do not have. If you do not have them, It's probably too late.

8. Just enjoy your life with your spouse, children, grandchildren and friends. People, who truly love you, love you for yourself, not for what you have. Anyone who loves you for what you have will just give you misery.

9. Forgive and accept forgiveness.
Forgive yourself and others. Enjoy peace of mind and peace of soul..

10. Befriend death.
It's a natural part of the life cycle. Don't be afraid of it. Death is the beginning of a new and better life. So, prepare yourself not for death but for a new life with the Almighty.

11. Be at peace with your Creator.
For... He is all you have after you leave this life.

GOD OUR FATHER,
WALK THROUGH MY HOUSE
AND TAKE AWAY ALL MY WORRIES
AND ILLNESSES;
IN JESUS ' NAME. AMEN

This prayer is so powerful. You may choose to pass this on to your relatives and friends.

GOD BLESS OUR FAMILIES!

20 Ways to End a Boring Chat Conversation

Hmmm….these are my ways of doing things…I just want to share them po….

1. Politely say that there is a bad connection.

2. Say that you'll catch them after munching on your non-existent dinner, lunch, breakfast...as the case may be.

3. Just stop posting your reply and remain silent..then be in invisible mode or sign out from chat.

4. Be straightforward and say to the person that the conversation is boring...this will cause awkwardness and will make the person stop.

5. Turn the conversation into an in-depth conversation about political, social, cultural issues which you know she/he is not well-versed to discuss or share his/her insights or opinions.

6. Say that you are about to take your shower and that you are leaving in few minutes.

7. Pretend to be sleepy and say you are to retire to bed early.

8. Say that you need to go and attend to some important errands.

9. Pretend that you have a call on the line and state you will take this call for a few seconds.

10. Say that your child needs to use the computer for his/her assignment.

11. State that you brought some office work that you need to finish for deadlines.

12. Pretend you sent a wrong message and the statement has to be about signing out in few minutes because you have an urgent concern.

13. Reply on a different tone…show no interest and do not answer some questions.

14. Use the English language to a person all throughout the conversation…use words which you believe she/he doesn’t understand….that will make him/her get tired trying to Google for the word.

15. Say words in a different language like Nihongo, German, French, etc. that she/he does not understand once in a while…that will probably make him/her disinterested.

16. Post your reply late…about 3 minutes to 5 minutes gap.

17. Post a wrong reply to a question.

18. Reply to everything with…”ahh…oic…ok…etc…|

19. Just ignore then apologize when you are asked the next time around.

20. Simply say, “I am sorry am doing something and I can’t chat with you this time.”
